Jack County early voting turnout above state average

Jack County saw a nearly double than state average turnout during early voting for the March 3 primaries.

Early voting began Tuesday, Feb. 18 at the Jack County Courthouse Assembly room and ran last week until 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28. The overall turnout of voters for Jack County was 1,148 of 5,071, or 23.35%, registered voters casting a vote. While the total voter turnout state-wide was 12.87% of registered voters.

Election Day voting takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in four Jack County locations: the Jack County Courthouse Assembly Room located 100 N. Main St., the Jack County Youth Fair Barn located 1072 Hwy. 59, the Perrin Church of Christ located 105 E. Eberhart St. and the Bryson Senior Citizens Building located 201 S. College St.
