Texas Christian announces spring grads

After successfully completing degree requirements at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, McCall Maddox from Jacksboro, TX, received a Bachelor of Science in Geology. Commencement exercises on May 13 honored 2,010 graduates in the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena on the TCU campus.

McCall received his minor in Energy Technology and Management. McCall completed an independent study during the summer of 2016 at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina where he studied spatial mapping, well drilling, water quality and sampling, well testing, soil properties and various other surface geophysical methods. 

McCall attended an additional independent study during the summer of 2015 in Costa Rica that primarily focused on the geology, environmental science and history of Costa Rica. 

While at TCU, McCall was a four-year member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, a social fraternity as well as a three-year member of the TCU Energy Club. 

McCall is currently a geologist with Selman and Associates, Ltd., a geological service company that provides geological consulting and surface logging services and is based in Midland, Texas with branch offices in Corpus Christi, Texas, Rock Springs, Wyoming and Montrose, Pennsylvania.
