Library kicks off Summer Reading Program
The Gladys Johnson Ritchie Library successfully kicked off its Summer Reading Program Friday, May 19.
The library had 27 participants sign up for the program which will continue through June.
The program started with a meet and greet followed by a presentation and question and answer session. The new homeschool leader was introduced and a book swap time was hosted.
Visitors took part in craft time creating alphabet collages and a door prize drawing.
Lastly, everyone settled in with popcorn to watch “Indian in the Cupboard.”
