Hood competes at FBLA nationals

The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference was held June 29th-July 2nd in Atlanta, GA.More than 9,380 participants from across the United States and abroad attended this exciting conference to enhance their business skills, expand their networks, and participate in more than 65 business and business-related competitive events. 

Karson Hood from Jacksboro High School competed in the Future Business Leader event. His adviser, Mrs. Peggy Clayton, also attended. In addition to the conference activities, they toured Atlanta, CNN studios and World of Coke Museum. Mrs. Clayton said, “It is always fun to catch up with friends that you only see a few times a year, and to visit new places. Because of the support of our administration and school board we are able to give students the opportunity to attend these conferences.”

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc., the premier student business organization, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) education association with a quarter million members and advisers in over 6,500 active middle school, high school, and college chapters worldwide.
