Honoring decades of service in education

Jacksboro ISD celebrated the service of Curriculum Director Diana White with a retirement reception Monday afternoon in the Jacksboro High School library.

Each table had a photo of White throughout the years.

White served as a Jacksboro elementary principal for 8 years and during the reception, many former elementary teachers stopped by to wish her well.

White has worked as a school teacher and administrator for 38 years, 34 in Jacksboro.

Following her official retirement in June, she and her husband Frank plan to travel and spend much of their time in Colorado.
