4-Hers compete in photography contests

    This photo by Dalton Birdwell placed first in the junior division category of detail and macro at the county contest and won a blue ribbon and best of category at the district competition.

    River Overton’s photo placed first in the county’s catch all category and won a red ribbon at district.

    Abigail Mangum’s detail and macro photo placed first at county and received a blue ribbon at district.

Jack County 4-Hers placed in the county and district photography contests.

In the intermediate division, Abigail Mangum placed first in county in the categories of animal -domestic, animal-wildlife, detail and macro, people and plant. She won a blue ribbon at district for detail and macro and red for the rest at district.

River Overton placed first in county in the categories of catch all, digital darkroom, dominant color, elements of design, food, marine/aquatics and nature/landscape. She won a blue ribbon at district for digital darkroom, red for dominant color and food and white for elements of design.

In the junior division, Chloe Hart placed first in the categories of animal- domestic and catch all. She won a blue ribbon at district for animal-domestic and a red for catch all.

Dalton Birdwell placed first at county in the categories of detail and macro, nature/landscape and people. He won blue ribbons for all three and best of category for detail and macro and nature/landscape.

Addie Ruth Moore placed first at county in the plant category and won a blue ribbon at district.
