Bryson’s varsity basketball teams gained a split Tuesday, Dec. 5 with visiting Archer City.

After winning the District 5-3A Division II Championship and making it to the Region II Final, Jacksboro placed several football players on the All-District teams recently announced. Senior quarterback Lando Belcher, a four year starter, was named district MVP.

Cowgirls fall to Prairie Valley, 30-18
After a 50-26 win over Wichita Christian two nights earlier, Bryson’s girls basketball team had trouble getting into any offensive flow against Prairie Valley and wound up on the short end of a 30-18 stick to the Lady ‘Dogs in the Chico Tournament.
Tigerettes lose at home
A 12-0 Windthorst run over a less than three minute span of the third and fourth quarter broke open a tight game with Jacksboro and lifted the Trojanettes to a 45-35 win over the host Tigerettes Nov. 28.
