The track season for the Bryson Cowgirls and Cowboys proved to be a successful one. The Cowgirls won the District Championship Thursday, April 10 while the Cowboys were District Runner-Ups. Both teams advanced several athletes to the Area meet in Trent April 17. The girls ended the meet as Area Runner-Ups and advanced eight girls to the Regional meet.

Those advancing to the Regional meet were Breanna Denton, pole vault and mile relay; Makayla Foyt, 100 and 300 Hurdles and mile relay; Macayla Ainsworth, 800 run; Avery Robinson, 800 relay; Hope Guttery, 800 relay; Caleigh Forbus, 800 relay and mile relay; Emily Berend, high jump, 800 relay and mile relay and Riley Smith, 3200 run and 1600 run.

The Cowboys finished eighth at Area and also advanced eight boys to the Regional meet. The boys that advanced were Keelan Thornburg, shot put; Lane Smith, 400 relay and mile relay; Brady Wiedebusch, 100 and 300 hurdles, high jump and 400 relay; Trent Moore, mile relay; Wyatt Kelley, pole vault; Matt West, 400 relay and mile relay; Jacob Jonas, 800 run and Marc Schafer, triple jump, 400 relay and mile relay.  

The Regional Meet was Friday and Saturday April 25-26. The girls program finished 10th at Regionals. They had one runner advance to the State Meet. Riley Smith, a sophomore, will run the 3200 and the 1600 in Austin. Riley competed in the 3200 at State last year and finished fourth.
