The Jacksboro Tigerettes fell to the Henrietta Lady Bearcats 17 to 4 Tuesday afternoon at Henrietta. The loss leaves the Tigerettes with a 2-3 district record at the halfway point of league play.
The Tigerettes scored the first run of the game in the top of the first inning. However, Henrietta quickly responded with five runs in the bottom of the first inning. The Tigerettes were never able to recover and the Lady Bearcats were able to secure the victory.
Harley Goodner finished the game two for three with a double. Lindsey Murphy went one for three with two RBI.
In other district action, Bowie defeated City View and Holliday blanked Nocona. At the halfway point of district play, Bowie leads the district with a record of 5-0. Holliday is in second place with a record of 4-1.
The Tigerettes will look to improve on their 2-3 district record as they continue to pursue a playoff spot when they travel to City View to take on the Lady Mustangs Friday.
