Billy Hamman goes up for a shot against the City View Mustangs.
The gas emergency that effected the entire town including the school, forced the Tigers important district contest with City View to be moved to the Mustangs home court Friday afternoon. A win by the Tigers would put them into a tie for the final playoff spot in District 8-2A.

The Tigers emerged from a timeout and began to fight their way back.

However, consecutive three-pointers by City View gave the Mustangs a lead the Tigers would not be able to overcome.

The Mustangs were able to hit free throws down the stretch to increase their lead and defeat the Tigers by a score of 49-41.

The loss eliminated the Tigers from playoff consideration as City View and Nocona will square off for the final playoff spot Tuesday night. The Tigers will play their final game of the year when they host Henrietta Tuesday night at Tiger Gymnasium.
