Cooper Tisdale poured in 29 points, but it was not enough as the Nocona Indians defeated the Jacksboro Tigers 47-40 at Nocona Friday night.

The Tigers continued to play tough basketball throughout the third quarter.

 Nocona closed out the third quarter by holding the ball for the last minute then hitting a buzzer beater to give the Indians a 31-27 lead entering the fourth quarter.


In other District 8-2A action, Bowie defeated Henrietta and Holliday defeated City View.

The last three games of the regular season will be home games for the Tigers as they begin their homestand by hosting district leading Holliday Tuesday night.
In junior varsity action, the Tigers defeated Nocona 29-23.
