The Jacksboro Tigers evened their district record at 1-1 as they outlasted the Nocona Indians to earn a hard fought 38-36 win at Tiger Gymnasium Tuesday night.

Head coach Ken Thompson was excited to see his team pull even in district play.
“This was a great win for the Tigers,” he said. “We played great team defense and that allowed us to get the win when our offense was struggling in the second half..."

In other District 8-2A action, Bowie defeated Henrietta and Holliday routed City View. The Tigers will travel to Holliday to take on the Eagles Friday night.
