Despite a valiant effort by the Tigerettes, Jacksboro fell to 1-3 in District with a 53-41 loss to the Nocona Lady Indians at Tiger Gymnasium Tuesday night.

The varsity game followed a Nocona 30-24 victory in the junior varsity game.

Head Coach Richard Hale cited turnovers as the biggest problem plaguing the Tigerettes.
“Once again we are guilty of not protecting the ball,” Hale said. “Turnovers hurt— they usually result in an easy score for the opponent and they are a lost opportunity for us to score..."

In other District 8-2A action, Bowie remained atop the District with a win over Henrietta and Holliday defeated City View.

The Tigerettes will travel to Holliday to take on the Lady Eagles Friday night.
