The Jacksboro Tigers dropped a close game to the Archer City Wildcats in their last game before the Christmas break Friday night.
After racing out to an early lead, the first quarter ended with the Tigers in front 14-11.
The third quarter saw the Wildcats outscore the Tigers by six points to take a three-point lead into a fourth quarter that saw the teams play to a standstill, allowing the Wildcats to hold off the Tigers for a 55-53 victory.
The Tigers will compete in the Breckenridge tournament over the Christmas holidays.
