Even a rainstorm that moved the final day of baseball camp to the football filed couldn't dampen the spirits of 43 youngsters who took advantage of the opportunity to improve their baseball skills at the Jacksboro Tiger Baseball camp last week.
The future Tiger baseball players who attended the camp, which was led by Tiger baseball coach Blake Belcher, ranged in age from Kindergarten to eighth grade.
The students were afforded the opportunity to practice all aspects of the game from pitching to hitting to fielding.
The students also learned drills they could practice on their own to continue their development.
Students at the camp received instruction from Coach Belcher along with Coach Andrews, Jacksboro Athletic Director Brian Hodnett and some current Tiger baseball players.
The camp provided an excellent opportunity for the coaches to work with students who will soon be a part of the high school program.
It will also give the players an opportunity to further develop their skills as baseball players.
