The Jacksboro Middle School seventh and eighth grade Tigers participated in the Archer City Tournament Saturday.
The eighth grade Tigers lose a tough game to Archer City with a score of 37 to 38 with Caleb Martin leading the scoring with 17 points.
The remaining points were tallied by Kole Vedder with 10 points, which included two three pointers; Pedro Ibarra with six points and Colten Massengale and Billy Hamman scored two points each.
They played their second game against Olney and won with a score of 38 to 14. Leading the scoring for the Tigers was Martin with 16 points. The remaining points were scored by Vedder with 13 points including two three pointers, Hamman with five points and Espinoza and Jake Johnson with two points each.
The seventh grade Tigers lose a hard fought battle with Archer City ending in score of 18 to 26.
Scoring for the seventh grade was Felipe Espinoza with eight points, Alejandro Banuelos with four points, Tyler Rogers, Lane Montgomery and Stacey Price with two points each.
Participants in this tournament were Jacksboro, Archer City, Holliday and Olney.
