Mary Jo Bommarito

Mary Jo Bommarito, 90, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 12, 2016

Mary Jo was born June 21, 1926 in Jacksboro, Texas. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Pete Bommarito. 

The Bommaritos owned and operated the Western Auto and a women’s clothing store in Jacksboro for nearly 50 years and worked side by side all of their years as business owners. Mary Jo was very involved in the Catholic Church and was loved for her sweet spirit by all of her family, customers, friends and neighbors in the community. 

Survivors include her daughters, Maria Glezer and husband, Paul of Denton, Texas; Cathy Baker and husband, Stanley of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Johnnie Lou Hartley and husband Phil of Stephenville, Texas; Betty Jean Vaught of Boonesville, Texas; grandsons, Samuel Bradley Paschal and wife Keisha; Peter Joseph Paschal and wife Heather; Weldon Stanley Baker III; and great grandchildren, Meredith Paschal and Marley Paschal. 

She will be also missed by many nieces, nephews and other family members. 

Funeral Mass was Saturday, October 15, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Jacksboro with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Coker Funeral Home.
