Letter to the editor: Jacksboro needs street improvements and industry

Taxpayers please call city hall and find out when is the street paver getting some more streets done. Remember we the taxpayers deserve all the streets being fixed.

Also if the leaders would make everyone get permits, we might have some money coming in to fix the streets. They say they have a pay-out plan. No one ever offered me one. Who keeps the books on the pay-out plan?

Now last but not least, how much do we pay whoever to get industry into this town! Now that we’ve got plenty of stores, hospital, new schools — why can’t we get new industry in here so there can actually be something besides oil and prisoners to make a decent paycheck out of?

Oh sorry I forgot the new lake. Everyone said they will come if we get a new lake — that was quite a few years ago.

Everyone needs a good paycheck all the time, get some industry! Or get someone else to give it a shot!
