Jody Keith Reeves, of Jacksboro, Texas was born on Christmas Eve in 1974 to Gary Marlon and Ruby Lee (Uptergrove) Reeves in Graham, Texas. He passed away on Thursday July 14, 2016 in Jacksboro. He was 41 years old.

Jody was a graduate of Jacksboro High School. He worked in the oilfield. He was a hard worker, such a rare thing these days. Most importantly, he loved his family with all his heart. He was a caring and kind father, brother, son, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Marlon and Mary Reeves and George and Frankie Uptergrove.

Among those who will miss him terribly include his children Alyssa Paige Reeves of Midlothian, Jared Keith Reeves of Graham, and Heather Cash of Graham; parents Gary and Ruby Reeves; brothers Gary Alan Reeves, Cody Brent Reeves and wife Shayna, and Christopher Michael Reeves and wife Crystal, all of Jacksboro; and many other extended family members and friends. 

Funeral services were held on Sunday July 17, 2016 at Coker Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Lynn Creek Cemetery.
