Bud Dunlap was born Jan. 3, 1928 in Jacksboro, Texas. He was the son of James Nolan and Eva Marie Todd Dunlap. Bud was a member of the Baptist Church and worked as a oilfield pumper. He served in the United States Army. Bud passed away Tuesday, May 13 in Jacksboro at the age of 86 years old.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Eugene Dunlap.
Bud is survived today by his children, Milton Dunlap of Jacksboro; Vicki Callaway of New Mexico; Curtis Patterson of Montana; Foy Gilbreath or Arkansas; brother, Nolan Dunlap; sisters, Doris King and Faye Perritt all of Jacksboro; 12 grandchildren — Dustin, Bris, James, Jeri, Travis, Jason, Jimmy, Cassidi, Steven, Maegan, Rueben and Vicky; and six great grandchildren — Falyn, Keley, Kirstin, Lierz, Aiden and Jace.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 16 in Dark Corner Cemetery with service under the direction of Coker Funeral Home.
