Cora Sue “Cozy” Turner of Jacksboro was born on Jan. 6, 1954 to Norman Locker “Tubby” and Willie Juanita “Sis” Whitsitt in Graham. She passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 in Fort Worth. She was 60 years old.
Cozy married William “Juggy” Turner Aug. 15, 1989 in Jacksboro. She worked for the Jack County Sheriff’s Department for years and then most recently as secretary for Lowrance Fencing. She was a member of the Christian Missions Church and the VFW Memorial Post 8914 Women’s Auxiliary. But most importantly she was a Christian woman full of love and laughter and life that will be missed by her friends and family.
Cozy is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Those left to cherish her sweet memory include her son Ace Guy Lowrance and wife Angie, brother Frank “Butch” Leach and wife Trudy, brother Rusty Lowrance and wife Kathy and sister Earlene Rhoades, grandchildren Lathan Guy, Jaron Ace and Kyle Faith Lowrance, many other extended family members and friends.
