Yvonne Shewmake Williams passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 in Jacksboro.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at Coker Funeral Home Chapel.
Yvonne was born Sept. 15, 1935 in Salesville. She was the daughter of the late Wade and Hazel Adams Shewmake.
She and Lamar Williams were married in Mineral Wells June 7, 1954.
Yvonne was a homemaker and member of Cundiff Baptist Church.
Many times, she could be found riding horseback with her husband, tending to their cattle and many other tasks around their home and land. Yvonne was an avid gardener and could grow most anything. Most of all, she was crazy about her grandkids and loved them dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Kathryn Gleason Moss and her brothers, Wesley Adams Shewmake, Logan Shewmake and Phillip Shewmake.
She is survived by her husband Lamar Williams; daughter, Margie Hoeflein and husband Charles; son, Welsey Williams and wife Kelly all of Jacksboro; sister, Ann King of Santa Fe, Texas; grandchildren, Bryan Hoeflein and Blake Hoeflein both of Granbury; Colton Williams and wife, Rene` of Runaway Bay, and Jaci Williams of Lubbock; one great-grandchild, Charlie Jean Hoeflein of Arlington.
