Doris Jane Mustin was born Saturday, Jan. 1, 1938, to John Mike and Ollie (Hardin) Mustin in Jacksboro. She passed away at her home in Jacksboro, Saturday, July 20, 2013. She was 75 years old. Doris worked at the Western Auto Store in Jacksboro for years as well as being a talented seamstress for the community. She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother Monroe Mustin; five sisters Louise Crain, Lee Ellen Thompson, Johnnie Rollwitz, Peggy Isbell and Nell Randall; two nephews; and three nieces. Among those who will cherish her sweet memory are her brother Tommy Mustin and wife Ann of Jacksboro; five nieces Pam Harris and husband Terry of Jacksboro, Gloria Hampton of Jacksboro, Sandra Kirkland and husband George of Weatherford, Sue Williams and husband Charlie of Weatherford, Jayla Hall and husband Jacky of Bryson; three nephews James Mustin and wife Judie of The Woodlands, Russell Mustin of Lindale, and Zack Mustin and wife Lisa of Liberty City; as well as many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and many other extended family members and friends, including a very special young man in her life, McCall Maddox of Fort Worth whom she took care of for many years. There is a very special thanks to Bob and Roxanna Maddox for their love and care.
