Nina Faye Easter Price Catlin was born Oct. 24, 1927,  in Jacksboro, the first of 11 children born to Ernest and Opal Easter. She attended Jacksboro High School and NTSU. She married E.L. Price in 1946. Azle was her home for 39 years where she was employed by the Azle ISD as campus secretary at Eagle Heights Elementary. Her desire to see children succeed led her to dedicate her career and efforts to education. Nina was always there for her family, especially her three children and her grandchildren who enjoyed many wonderful times with their Mema.
In 1989, she married L.E. Catlin and returned to Jacksboro, enjoying time with family, traveling and at her home. She went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at her home in Jacksboro.
Services were held at 10 a.m., April 20, at Church of Christ in Jacksboro.
Special thanks goes to her caregivers, Lorena Gutierrez, Ruth Salazar, Janet Vega and Gabby Ruiz-Galavis, for their love and care.
Nina was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Opal Easter; husband, E.L. Price; grandson, Jeffory Smith; brothers, Albert, Billy and Tommie; and sister, Annie Easter Daves.
Survivors include her husband, L.E. Catlin; sons, Jerry Price and Lois of Springtown and John Price and Kay of Fort Worth; daughter, Shirley Price and James of Saginaw; brothers, Clinton, James, Floyd and Joe Easter; sisters, Betty Graybill, Charlotte Williams; grandchildren, Derek, Jeff, Scott, Mandy and Samantha; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
