Zachary Blake Gober, 18, died Monday, July 26, 2010, in Boyd. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport with the Rev. Gary Dimmitt officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Jack County.
Zach was born March 28, 1992, in Mineral Wells to Gary and Linny (Armstrong) Gober. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 2010 and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Linny Read and husband Marvin of Bridgeport; his father, Gary Gober and wife Christy of Springtown; three sisters, Bree Gober, Amye Read and Kayla Van Brunt; three brothers, Ty Read, Brayden Pewitt and Bryson Vidal; his grandparents, Larry and Cherry Armstrong and Susan Houser, all of Jacksboro, and Lary and Cynthia Gober, Roy and Gay Boswell, and Oz and Dana Read , all of Bridgeport; his great-grandmother, Shorty Armstrong; and a host of other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 30, at the funeral home.
