Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce will host the first annual Jacksboro Chamber Challenge Golf Tournament Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Jacksboro Country Club.
The tournament is scheduled to tee off at 10 a.m. and will play to a scramble format. Costs for the tournament are $50 per player or $200 per team.
The course will be set up with the first nine holes to be played to a Par 3 format. The second nine will be played from the regular tees. Lunch will be provided as teams finish the first nine. A drink cart will be available to all players throughout the day. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to first- and second-place teams. There will be prizes awarded on both the long drive and the closest to the pin holes. There will also be a Hole In One prize offered at a designated hole. The winning team will have their players names displayed as the inaugural winners of the “Jacksboro Chamber Challenge” on a plaque which will be displayed at the Chamber of Commerce Office.
