Texas first ever 4-H “Green Out” event will kick off the 2010-11 4-H year with discounted tickets for the Texas Rangers Athletics game, Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Ballpark in Arlington.
Included is a pre-game concert by Mercy Me, presented by I Am Second. Every ticket holder, who purchases seats by Friday, Aug. 13, will receive a free one-of-a-kind “Greenout” T-shirt with the Rangers and 4-H logos, courtesy of Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Company The first 8,500 Texas Rangers fans will also receive a red Rangers T-shirt. Every County and 4-H club has the opportunity to sell “Greenout” tickets as a fund-raiser for their County 4-H program. Prizes will be awarded for the member, club and county 4-H that sales the most tickets.
Ticket seating options include the “All You Can Eat Porch” which means all the hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, peanuts, soft drinks and grilled chicken sandwiches one can eat. For more information, call the Extension office at (940) 567-2132. |
