New mechanic in town

Charles Mason cuts the ceremonial ribbon at Main Street Auto which opened for business July 19, at 219 S. Main St. Chamber members on hand for the event from left are Angie Burdett, Jack Pardue, Chamber Office Manager Brenda Tarpley, Chamber President Wes McCurry, Mason and his family, wife, Jaime, Corey and Charles Jr. with Rod Heltzel, owner of the building and partner in the business. The shop will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday - Friday offering complete diesel and auto repair, utilizing state of the art computer diagnostic equipment. “Mason is a 16-year veteran diesel technician and has owned his own business since he was kid,” said Heltzel about the experience Mason brings to the partnership. “He races and is great at performance work for old and new cars.” Contact Main Street auto for work on ATVs motorcycles, farm equipment, big trucks and trailers and heavy equipment at (940) 567-2321.
