“Locks of Love” will again be a highlight of Relay for Life. Ponytails must be at least 10 inches long to donate. To sign up, call Melody Besselaar at (940) 507-1785. Nail Down a Cure Nail Down a Cure will hold a bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3rd at The First National Bank of Jacksboro. They are also selling raffle tickets for a Benelli Nova Shotgun and a Remington Model 700 .243 Rifle. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. The tickets will be placed in one hopper, and winner of the first drawing gets to the prize. The second ticket drawn will be for the remaining prize. The drawing will be held during the team’s fund-raiser dance Saturday, Feb. 27, at the VFW hall. Kenny Salazar will be the DJ, and tickets are $10 per person. You don’t need to be there to win. School Admin School Admin will auction off four tickets to the Mavericks vs. Sacramento game (7:30 p.m. Friday, March 5). This also includes a Platinum parking pass. Bidding will take place during a live auction at the JHS home game on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Auld in the Family Auld in the Family is sponsoring a frozen food sale at the courthouse from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19. The Schwan’s truck will be parked at the square, and a portion of the sales will be donated to Relay For Life. Auld in the Family’s annual garage sale benefiting Relay For Life will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 5, at 242 W. Live Oak St. Sizzlin’ up a Cure Sizzling up a Cure is raffling off a four-wheeler/trailer combo. Tickets are $50 each and are available at the Cuttin Corral or by calling Tina Besselaar at (940) 567-2772. S.O.S. For a Cure S.O.S. For a Cure is selling chances on a Cub Cadet zero-turning radius mower (50” cut with a 22 hp Kawasaki engine). Tickets are $20 each or six for $100. The drawing will be held the night of the event.
