The Jacksboro Tigerettes dropped a difficult decision Tuesday to one of their toughest district opponents.
The Brock Lady Eagles, ranked 25th in the state for all Class 2A schools, dealt the Tigerettes a 68-15 defeat.
After being shut out in the first frame, the Jacksboro rallied for nine in the second. Six points in the second half did not make a dent in the deficit.

Calie Turley, Jacie Williams and Laken Plaster each scored three points. Turley added six rebounds, while Williams and Plaster notched a rebound and an assist apiece.
Carley Mahoney scored two points, a rebound, a steal and an assist.
Riley Smith added a bucket, a rebound and a steal.
Allie Smith made two points and five rebounds.
Breanne Cathey contributed two rebounds and three steals.

The Tigerettes will continue District 9-2A play today (Tuesday) when they host Boyd.
