The Jacksboro Middle School seventh-grade Tigerettes “A” team stole an exciting victory Jan. 18 from Paradise.
The Tigerettes edged the Lady Panthers, 26-25. “These girls did a tremendous job of staying in the game when their shots wouldn’t fall and we had teammates in foul trouble,” said Coach Misty Little
Lanna Plaster led the way with a triple-double – 13 points, 12 rebounds. She also grabbed 11 steals and and made one assist. Scarlett Bowen had six points and three rebounds. Olivia Roberts scored three points, a rebound and a steal. Megan Harris added two points and two rebounds. Katelin Bailey had two points, four rebounds and three steals. Also contributing were Shalin Simmons with three rebounds, and Ashley Lane had two rebounds and a steal.
