Exotic lizard Wednesday, November 11, 2009 Editor

Jacksboro Elementary School Science Lab administrator Jeanetta Anderson is excited to receive a new specimen for her students. School Resource Officer Cody McGee recently presented the school with an iguana, adopted from the Wylie Animal Shelter. The reptile went unclaimed after it was found in a swimming pool about three months ago. When Wiley could not keep the iguana because of overcrowding at its shelter, Animal Control Officer Star Kinder made arrangements for it to come to Jacksboro.
