The Davis Excavation crew was hard at work Tuesday at the new construction site for Faith Community Hospital. It was a windy day with dirt blowing everywhere but the crew had their water trucks spraying water to help minimize the issue. Everything seemed to be business as usual.

“We are right on schedule with the dirt work portion of this project,” said Danny Stevens, foreman for Davis Excavation. “We have about another week and a half until we are through and the next stage can begin.”

Preparing the site is the beginning of several phases of the project. Frank Beaman, CEO of Faith Community Hospital is excited about the project and is looking forward to the next phase.

“We are pleased with the progress and look forward to the next phase of construction which will be moving in job trailers and preparing for the drilling of piers for the foundation,” said Beaman. “The project is on schedule with a planned move in date of August of 2015. However, most of us would not be too disappointed if we experienced a few rain delays.”

The progress of the new hospital can be seen from Highway 281 near Jacksboro High School.
