The Jack County Retired School Employees Association met in April.
They had Debbie Widby of AMBA Insurance from Wichita Falls present a program on dental/vision plans, cancer plans and long-term plans for members of TRTA.
Another program presented at this meeting was "The Ten Commandments for a Healthy Heart" from Beyond Faith here in Jacksboro and in Graham.
At the April meeting, author Treva Tindol Dawson spoke of the two books she has written about early days in Jack County-- "Flowers for Millie" and "Forks in the Road".
Also present was Gale Cochran Smith, a good friend and co-author with Ms. Dawson of the book, "Memories Along the Chisolm Trail."
The ladies told interesting stories from the books, and there were some for sale at the meeting.
