Jacksboro High School s Future Business Leaders of America recently competed in area competition including, front, Hendrix Taylor, Sarah Lowther, Katelin Bailey, Alexis Easley, back, Duston Moore, Jonah Meade, Hannah McDaniel, Paige West and Carson Hood.
Jacksboro Future Business Leaders of America recently competed at the organization’s area competition with several students placing.

First place winners were Melissa Cooley in Introduction to Business Communications along with Katelin Bailey, Alexis Easley, Karson Hood, Hannah McDaniel and Paige West in Parliamentary Procedures.

Second place winners were Jen Newman in Agribusiness; Bayley Richardson in FBLA Principles & Procedures and Michael Forbus in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedures.

Third place winners were Darby Perry in Agribusiness;  Adam May in Business Law ; Sarah Lowther and Raney Overton in Desktop Publishing; Ashleigh Irwin in Introduction to Business Communication and Mariana Vela in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedures.

Fourth place winners were Alisha Holley in FBLA Principles and Procedures; Kaylea Maples in Introduction to Business Communications; Hendrix Taylor in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedures and Hunter Smith in Personal Finance.

Fifth place winners were Megan Harris in Agribusiness; Tyler Rogers in Business Math and Cayley Strickland in Cybersecurity.

Other competitors were Victoria Aydelott, Emilee Florance and Kaitlyn Kennedy in Business Communications, as well as, Jonah Meade and Duston Moore in Digital Design & Promotion and Urvi Patel in Business Law.

Karson Hood was installed as area parliamentarian. The Who’s Who award was given to Duston Moore, chapter president.
