aith Community Hospital and the Jack County Child Welfare Board will offer classes on Parenting the Love and Logic Way which represents a “how-to” approach to parenting. We will meet weekly for 6 weeks.

The following topics will be discussed: how to avoid unwinnable power struggles and arguments while staying calm and empathetic, how to set enforceable limits and avoid enabling and begin empowering, how to help kids learn from mistakes rather than repeating them and how to raise kids who are family team members rather than demanding dictators.

The free program is open to the public and will begin from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 at The Parish, 115 N. Knox St.

To participate, register by Feb. 4 by contacting Kristi Holman at (940) 567-6633 ext. 282 or
