DJ Thomas had his fourth consecutive 200-yard rushing game and David Stretcher scored four touchdowns as the Jacksboro Tigers defeated the Nocona Indians 60-26 to claim the school's first district championship since 2003.
On Senior Night, where 21 Tiger football players took the field at Tiger Stadium for the last time, the Tigers took the opening kickoff and went right to work.
The win insured the Tigers of the first place seeding in the playoffs. The Tigers will play their final regular season game when they travel to Holliday Friday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
