The Bryson Cowgirl volleyball team is raising money to help fight breast cancer. The week of Oct. 7 -14, the girls will be doing several activities to help with this cause. The volleyball team is selling Breast Cancer Awareness shirts. The shirts will have the team roster of the football and volleyball teams on the back. The shirts will be for sale for $ . The JH and HS volleyball girls have all signed a pink and white volleyball that will be raffled off. Each ticket is $1. You will have opportunities to bid on these baskets at the JH match Monday, the HS match Friday, the football game Friday and again at the Faculty volleyball game Monday, Oct. 14. Friday, Oct. 11, Bryson HS will play Poolville HS in Volleyball, with the first games starting at 4 p.m. This is a "Pink Out" game. We want the gym to be packed with everyone wearing their Breast Cancer shirt or pink in support of the fight against breast cancer. That night, Bryson HS will play Throckmorton HS in football at 7:30 p.m. This is also a "Pink Out" game. Monday, Oct. 14, Bryson school staff will play the BJH volleyball team at 6:30 p.m. After the game, we will also have a pink paper airplane contest. Each sheet of paper is $1. You can make as many airplanes as you want. The plane closest to the center will win ½ the money raised from the airplane contest. Winners of the auction baskets and the team balls will be announced after the faculty match is over. All proceeds raised from these activities will be donated to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Jack County.
