Harmon Lee Watts, 74, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, at home, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Anson, Nov. 13, 1938, to Floyd and Grace Watts. He was a loving husband, father, and loyal friend to many. He enjoyed serving his community as a law enforcement officer for 18 years. He was married to Martha Jane Watts July 8, 1956. Survivors include his wife; son Howard Watts; daughter Linda Applegate and husband Larry; daughter Brenda Tarpley and husband Randy; son Michael Watts and wife Theresa; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers Elmer Watts, and Larry Watts and wife Bea; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by parents; brothers Delton Watts and Orvan Watts; and sisters Pearl Grigsby and Charlene Bradley. The funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Thursday at Central Methodist Church in Mineral Wells.
